Baby Cargo Stroller Product Review
Sunday, November 18, 2012 Labels: Mommy Recommendations, Product Reviews
Thinking back on this past weekend, I have lots to smile about! We always strive to make the most out of weekends and create some memorable family quality time. Last weekend was certainly no exception! There were two particular things I was really looking forward to. Firstly, the Santa Claus parade was coming to town. I personally hadn't gone to the parade in ages but for my son it was his very first time attending a parade. Love my son's firsts! Second thing was about trying out my brand spanking new Baby Cargo stroller! Not only was Santa hitting the town, but so was the stroller! To tell you the truth, I don't know who was more ecstatic about the stroller ride, son or mom!

Wednesday, August 1, 2012 Labels: Giveaways, Mommy Recommendations, Product ReviewsDay after day, parents all over the world try by any means possible to ensure their children are safe and protected, especially when it comes to playtime. As much as we trust our kids, we still can't help but worry about their safety and well-being. A study has shown that the age group with the most injuries resulting from driveway-related accidents was the 5 to 10 years old. It's no surprise when you think that these ages are the ones where children start to slowly become more independent, making our job as parents harder when it comes to watching them. After all, accidents happen so quickly, right? The Stop-It! multi-purpose net is there to lend you a helping hand in making recreation time a little less worrisome for you and a little more safe for your youngsters.

Nowadays, children toys and clothing stores are overwhelmingly present all around us. And with the internet being a major influence in today's society, it's no surprise that consumers find themselves struggling to find a decent and distinguishable store where to shop for their children's needs. Since most of us, parents, want what's best for our kids, the panoply of choice doesn't make the task much easier on us. And with life getting more and more expensive by the minute, we occasionally go for what our budget considers affordable, unfortunately. Therefore sometimes generating cut backs on quality or originality. What if I told you there was a store out there that combines great prices with amazing quality and creativeness, all in one?

Closed - Baby Sun Hat Review & Giveaway - USA & Canada
Thursday, May 10, 2012 Labels: Giveaways, Mommy Recommendations, Product Reviews
I know this post is entitled Baby Sun Hat Review, but my mind was set on doing a shop review for a lovely lady called Brenda Vermunt. This woman is genuinely amazing and remarkably talented. I first came into contact with Brenda last December when I was desperately searching for Christmas pyjamas. My family was hosting a Christmas party where the dress code was Holiday pj's only. I desperately searched every possible store for some. It's Christmas so you'd think that Christmas sleeping garments would be everywhere right?! Nope! Nothing. Very disappointing to say the least. So I had to turn to my favorite store in the world, the one that never lets me down... the web! And being the Etsy fan that I am, I surfed with determination their site. Which lead me to Brenda's shop called AuntBsBonnets. She mainly sells items for children. Depending on the season, it varies from sun hats, to onesies, dresses, pyjamas, blankets, sleepbags, and the list goes on. First thing that struck me was the originality of her fabrics and their cuteness. I went on to notice that she had these Christmas children PJs and asked her if she had them for adults. She didn't but, without hesitation, offered to custom-make some for me and my boyfriend. Not only was she very helpful and friendly, but her service was fast and extremely professional. One of the sweetest, most reliable person I have met in my whole internet shopping life! And you're probably wondering how the pyjamas turned out to be in this whole crazy story... one word: Awesome! Great quality fabric, gorgeous patterns, perfectly tailored and ideal fitting. They were just perfect!

I am very proud to bring you this fantastic giveaway! This item, offered by BTFairies, is remarkably cute and truly unique! There is no other tooth fairy pillow as unusual and personalized as this one. Shaped like a tooth in white soft fur, your child's name is lovingly embroidered in pink or blue on the pocket where they will carefully place their tooth and wait for that special surprise from the Tooth Fairy. There is a special "memory" ribbon to hang their buddy on the bedpost, doorknob or they can place it under their pillow. It also has an adorable embroidered face and gold wings. If that's not enough , there's a gold heart that when pressed plays Brahm's Lullaby. This is truly a memory for years to come!
Prior to a few years ago, I utterly disliked tea and coffee. Not to be playing on words here, but they were definitely not my cup of tea! I thought coffee tasted quite nasty and I thought tea was a fancy drink for the over 60-year-olds... no offence! This all changed when I met my boyfriend... aaaahhh the wonderful things love will make you do! And that's where my love story with tea began. I started off with the basic, usual stuff, Tetley's Orange Pekoe. The good old-fashionned tea. And then, a year ago or so, my parents got us a gift. A nice arrangement from David's Tea. Back then, I was somewhat familiar with the company, yet I didn't really know what they were all about.
"The Sewing Granny", A Shop Worth Visiting
Labels: Mommy Recommendations, Product Reviews, Store ReviewsI always though that handmade baby items were the greatest. They are just so gorgeous and one of a kind. Same for household items and apparel. I love it when I know I have a piece made really to my liking and personal style... it spells uniqueness. Now that's where my friend Mona comes in. And where I come in to talk to you about her wonderful store called The Sewing Granny. She dedicates herself into making handmade baby items, hand quilted quilts, placemats, potholders and infinity scarves. I could go on and on about her business but I'll let her tell you all about herself and her shop through this interview I had with her.
We're human, hence, we all eventually catch a virus, some more frequently than others. It's bound to happen. Pretty inevitable. And no matter what it is, our initial instinct is to cure it, make it better. Let's face it, feeling under the weather is far from fun. Living it up, in bed, indulging in pure laziness, doing purely nothing... aaaahhh... of course, just a thought, let's pop that bubble and come back down to Earth! So, since we remain on the go, living our hectic lives despite the fact that we are indisposed, we usually need a little help to, at least, keep our head on straight.
A Mommy Recommendation - Personalized Easter Baskets
Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Labels: Mommy Recommendations
There are so many things I love about Easter... the family get-togethers, the brunches, the yummy glazed-ham, the chocolate eggs, the stuffed bunnies and chicks... the overall spirit is overwhelmingly joyous! Although the kids are really the ones getting the whole kick out of it. As for us, parents, we relive these simple joys through our little ones... enjoying quality time making homemade Easter crafts, organizing an Easter egg hunt, cooking some cool Easter treats. Though what I remember the most out of my childhood Easters are the cool and oh-so colorful baskets, filled with exciting surprises!
Well, Chapters-Indigo has really captured the essence of Easter baskets... they let you create your own personalized basket! Chose from a wide variety of treats and trinkets and fill up one of their extra cute lamb, bunny, or chick basket. You get the chance to make it your own creation with items that you know your kid will adore. Such a wonderful idea! And a little reminder, Chapters-Indigo ships internationally... so hurry up to do your shopping now to get it in time for Easter!

A Mommy Recommendation - Clement Online Store
Wednesday, March 21, 2012 Labels: Mommy Recommendations
Whether you have a child who just entered the world or a kid who is entering the teenage years, you will without a doubt find this online boutique more than handy. And, if perhaps, you own a daycare, you will find yourself adding this store to your favorites list!
Maniqui shoes for your child are an excellent choice to help your little explorer with his first steps, as well as to accompany him in his exploits. Fueled by curiosity, the child sets off to discover the world surrounding him, whether to reach a desired object or to snuggle against his mother and father.
I had never heard of these Baby Einstein DVDs until a friend of ours mentioned how much his son loved them. We then decided to put them down on our son's first birthday wish list. Needless to say, my sister surprised him with 7 of them! (see the picture above)
A Mommy Recommendation - The Head Massager
Saturday, February 25, 2012 Labels: Mommy Recommendations
When I received this as a surprise from my boyfriend, I gave him that "HUH?!?!" look. I didn't really know what to make of it. I was plenty aware that it was a gadget, but its purpose was making me clueless. Just as he told me what it was, I thought "Cool! But does it really work??".
