Baby Cargo Stroller Product Review

Sunday, November 18, 2012
Thinking back on this past weekend, I have lots to smile about! We always strive to make the most out of weekends and create some memorable family quality time. Last weekend was certainly no exception! There were two particular things I was really looking forward to. Firstly, the Santa Claus parade was coming to town. I personally hadn't gone to the parade in ages but for my son it was his very first time attending a parade. Love my son's firsts! Second thing was about trying out my brand spanking new Baby Cargo stroller! Not only was Santa hitting the town, but so was the stroller! To tell you the truth, I don't know who was more ecstatic about the stroller ride, son or mom!

A few weeks ago I got pleasingly spoiled. I received a Baby Cargo 200 Series stroller! From my first visit on Baby Cargo's website, I was completely seduced by their strollers. They exude this distinct finesse and style like no other stroller I have seen before. It is a simply and truly an incredible umbrella stroller. Knowing how Baby Cargo focuses on making their strollers stylish, comfortable and affordable, I think they have succeeded with flying colours. No offence to our current, rather now old news stroller, but this Baby Cargo stroller will definitely be the envy amongst fellow moms and dads. We cannot complain about our old stroller seeing how we received it as a gift, but there is really no comparison. It's like comparing a Honda Civic with a Cadillac... Baby Cargo being the Cadillac of course!

So based on a strolling experience with a very modest, borderline average, baby stroller, we had great perspective on reviewing the Baby Cargo. We knew what to look for. Foremost, the Baby Cargo 200 Series stroller has a very timeless, sophisticated and classy look. It really stands out with it's sleek attributes and lightweight, yet sturdy frame. Our old stroller folded small, but not that small. The Cargo folds super compact and to add to the neatness, it has an easy-to carry shoulder strap and handle. Now that spells practicality! Additionally, the stroller comes equipped with a rain cover that folds away in a pouch, which you can neatly and accommodatingly keep accessible in the underside basket. The canopy is fully adjustable, same as the seat and backrest. They provide a multi-position feature which offers your little one a ride in comfort. And I must praise one thing that I think is absolutely genius about the stroller: the adjustable leg rest! Just neat I think as it offers children the option of sitting or laying with their legs stretched out.
The front and back wheels can all be locked independently without difficulty in order to respectively keep them straight or simply lock them. Another fantastic characteristic about the stroller is its buckle. I never thought much of buckles until I started equipping myself with baby gear. Buckles that require struggling and cussing to get undone are now, in my book, a big no-no. I am now in buckle heaven with my Cargo. With the light press of a single finger, my child is free from his restraints. No fuss and one very happy mommy. This stroller is really designed to make parents' life and outings easier with all its intelligently designed conveniences. What parents need in a stroller is not just a nice ride but also a ride that accommodates them with storage room. And that's exactly what the Cargo is all about! The back side pocket and underside basket are perfectly sized to fit the necessary and beyond. The stroller is made of 100% polyester and black matte non rusting aluminium with ergonomic handles that allow you to manoeuvre it with one hand only. We were blown away by how smooth the Baby Cargo stroller rides. Pushing our son around the city was a real charm, as we could barely feel the bumps of the streets and sidewalks. Even though our little man cannot speak enough words to give us the full scoop on his excitement, we know for a fact that he genuinely enjoys and adores his new stroller. Just to give you an idea, first time we put the stroller together, he didn't waste a second to jump in it! If he could've stayed in it all night, pretty sure he would have!

All in all, the Baby Cargo 200 Series stroller is a gem. It offers convenience, comfort and style, all in one. We deeply adore all it has to offer and its ease of use. If you are looking into purchasing a new stroller for whatever reason, I strongly suggest you consider Baby Cargo. Between the 100 Series, 200 Series or 300 Series model, there's a stroller for any budget! Each series model comes with a choice of three colour combinations that are all as fabulous and chic as one another.

Baby Cargo will soon be launching a new product line. Considering how wonderful their current products are, this is exciting news! To view more information on Baby Cargo, their product line or where to find the Cargos, visit them here. You can also stay in touch with them via their Facebook page or Twitter profile. Their strollers and accessories can be purchased in most major retail stores and are now available for online purchase in Canada at Sears. Baby Cargo will be hitting the Canadian market as of January 2013, so keep an eye out for that!

I have one like this!! Brody is almost 3 and knows how to get out of it. The little one is so darling. No cold weather for us yet though here in Texas....we aren't bundling up like that yet.

A good stroller is key. I think we don't think of that often. It worth it to invest in the front and then have it to pass on to other kids.

We have two umbrella strollers to save the day (have you walked up and down downtown Seattle with two boys?! it is awful!). But if I would have had the money to buy a better stroller, I would have gotten this one!

Great review!! And good luck to everyone who enters the giveaway! :D
