Day after day, parents all over the world try by any means possible to ensure their children are safe and protected, especially when it comes to playtime. As much as we trust our kids, we still can't help but worry about their safety and well-being. A study has shown that the age group with the most injuries resulting from driveway-related accidents was the 5 to 10 years old. It's no surprise when you think that these ages are the ones where children start to slowly become more independent, making our job as parents harder when it comes to watching them. After all, accidents happen so quickly, right? The Stop-It! multi-purpose net is there to lend you a helping hand in making recreation time a little less worrisome for you and a little more safe for your youngsters.
We secure our stairs with gates. We fence off our pools for all the obvious reasons. We put locks on pretty much anything and everything our children can get their hands on. We buckle up our kiddos when riding in a vehicle. What about our driveways? The streets are most obviously not a safe place for our children to be in and yet, we tend to minimize the risk of accident they represent for our little ones. As reported by "Stop-It!" Canada, the company behind this great product and who is to thank for this review and giveaway opportunity, "statistics show that there are high incidences of injury to children from lack of driveway safety and boundaries". So why take the risk? Better be safe than sorry I believe!
With the Stop-It! multi-purpose net, your children will rely on that much more safety when playing hockey in the driveway or when kicking the soccer ball at the park, for example. This net is obviously not intended to replace parental supervision nor to eliminate all risks of accidents or injuries. Realistically, no such thing really exists. But it will provide both a physical and imaginary line to discourage young children from adventuring into an area that can represent a danger for them. It will take the role of a reminder not to venture into the streets. It can also prevent cars from accessing your driveway whenever your children are there playing or riding their bicycles. It can basically be installed wherever you desire, for instance the driveway, the backyard, an area at the park, the steps to the deck, a body of water, etc.
Established in Canada, Stop-It! is a company on the rise with a truly and unbelievably remarkable product. First, I would like to start off by giving a special shout-out to Tyler Orchard, with whom I had the chance to be in contact with in order to put together this great post and who offered amazing, friendly and efficient service. His true professionalism and deep caring gave me confirmation that I was dealing with a company who had its customers' satisfaction at heart. A lot of thought and care was put into this product and it transpires from every aspect of it. The net offers amazing quality, at an affordable price and is easy to put together and handle. They even designed it in such way that it can be taken with you anywhere! That's right! The net comes in a pouch equipped with rope straps allowing easy carriage (I read your mind... yes! light to carry as well!) and neat storage. First time set-up is extremely easy and fast. No real assembly required. And from there, putting up the net is child's play. With its retractable mechanism, extending the net to its desired position and taking it down afterwards is a piece of cake. Hassle-free and just so smooth to operate. The net extends to roughly 22 feet and is covered by a bright red border all around, which makes it clearly visible to children and/or drivers.
Make sure you visit them on their Website, Facebook page or Twitter profile, and why not become a fan while you're there!?
When we installed our Stop-It! net, we noticed how it instantaneously sent a message to our son about where the limits of play area stood. As a matter of fact, he was actually enjoying himself shooting the ball towards the net, seeing how it would catch it and consequently bounce back. He quickly realized that fun time was happening within the borders of our property and driveway and was totally happy with it! Not only were my boyfriend and I quite impressed with the product, but so was my whole family. We all agreed that the net is such a wonderful idea. There is no negative aspect about this product, in fact, every parent can only benefit from a Stop-It! multi-purpose net and will surely be glad to have one tucked away in their house or garage. As my son grows older, I not only know, but am convinced the net will be more than appreciated and will make our lives that much better!
