Halloween 2012 might be your very first time celebrating this spooky holiday with your kiddos. On the other hand, some of you might have stopped counting a long time ago how many times you've trick or treated with your youngsters. Either way, one thing is for certain for all of you, safety cannot be forgotten. It is crucial for all parents to not only explain the safety rules to their children, but to also ensure both themselves and their children apply them. As a matter of fact, Halloween can be an extremely exciting time for children and with the distraction of candy and costumes, safety rules aren't always on their mind. Research shows that distractions can increase a child's chances of being struck by a car. So let's make sure we all have a fun, and safe Halloween by following these simple safety tips for everyone!

Over the past couple of weeks I have been presenting you various Halloween crafts aimed for decorating purposes. Then I realized, isn't Halloween also about costumes??! Kids love to dress up in Halloween-themed costumes and adore the fact that they can pretend to be whoever their heart desires. Then it dawned on me... I had to make the topic of my next  Halloween post about a disguise. And so I came up with an arts and crafts that is fairly elementary to make and that will certainly bring loads of fun and laughter to its creator: your child!

Do you enjoy making arts and crafts with your kiddo at Halloween? I so do! Another thing I also greatly enjoy is sharing all these great ideas with you. Spending time with our children during such activities is simply priceless. Now so far I have introduced arts and crafts about ghosts and pumpkins... what's next? How about mummies! This Halloween character is so mysterious, yet frightful and intriguing, makes it impossible not to create a mummy craft!

October is slowly creeping in and next thing you know, Halloween will be knocking at our door. A holiday that makes everybody, from young to young at heart, cheery and giddy! I don't know about you, but I love Halloween! And having a child of my own now turns this time of year into an exciting, fun and magical time. Not just the day itself, but the whole month leading to it as well! Making Halloween arts and crafts are one of the several fun things about preparing for Halloween. They are pure cheers and laughter.
