Valentine's Day
One of my mottos in life is why buy it when you can make it? Homemade tastes better, smells better, costs less, and let's face it, is overall the best! So this Valentine's Day, why buy little candy hearts when it is so easy to make them yourself at home? Few ingredients suffice to create these unique treats that you can personalize and offer to anyone and at any occasion.

There is a saying that states diamonds are a woman's best friend. I believe jewelry is a woman's best companion. Jewelry is the best way to compliment and accentuate any outfit. And makes for a great gift as well! You basically can never go wrong with jewelry! I have a fetish for jewelry... and shoes... but that will be subject to another future post! For now, let's focus on this fab giveaway that offers you the chance to win your very own choice of jewelry!
It’s a New Year, and what better way to help you stick out those resolutions than with a little giveaway to keep you motivated?
One of my favourite comfort foods ever is chilli. Love, love, love it! Served on a nest of jasmine rice, or topped with some shredded cheddar and served with tortilla chips, it never fails to make my tummy happy! Especially on these cold winter days, chilli feels like the perfect meal!

I started making my own fudge about two Christmases ago. I adore fudge and was always under the impression that making homemade fudge was mission impossible. Little did I know! It's one of the easiest things to make! Thing is too, there are so many variants you can bring to a fudge recipe: change up the nuts, mint extract rather than vanilla extract, switch from chocolate chips to semi-sweet chips... you can really make it your own! And what better time to make fudge than during the Holidays!? Like really...
These peppers will make a nice side-dish to anything you serve it with. Packed with tons of fresh ingredients and easy to make, they will be a hit for a simple family dinner or for a fancy dinner party. Serves 4 portions.
I hate winter. I have no problem admitting to it. But good news for winter. I love thee for one reason, and one reason only: Christmas! Can't have Christmas any other way than white! And I admit, I get a little depressed during the month of December if there is no white carpet on the ground. I need my snow for Christmas, what can I say! So I was ecstatic last week when we had our first snow fall. Alright it was merely a couple of inches with half that melted less than 24 hours later due to rain but hey, it's white outside and that's all that matters! So because Christmas is not far away and I am getting really excited, let's make snow globes together!
